Will you collaborate with soloists or instrumentalists? Can you accompany a friend/family member in my ceremony?
The Linden String Quartet is happy to collaborate with solo vocalists or instrumentalists. It is often a favorite part of the ceremony! We can provide a professional soloist (pending soloist’s availability and rate). We also often collaborate with friends and family of the wedding party. Please contact us for details.
What if I have a special song request that isn’t listed on your website?
If you are looking for something you don’t see on our website, let us know and we can either order it or create an arrangement for you. Unless you select the gold ceremony package, special music requests will incur additional fees and can be dependant on sheet music availability.
When is payment due?
To reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event. (If event is booked less than 30 days prior to the event, the full payment is due upon booking.) Unless otherwise requested, an invoice will be sent to you by e-mail for the agreed upon balance. Cash or check accepted.
Will you perform at my outdoor event?
Yes! String quartets can be a beautiful addition to an outdoor wedding. Of course, our instruments are very sensitive and a few conditions will apply to any outdoor venue. If you are interested in having the Linden String Quartet play outdoors, please contact us and we’ll discuss the proper arrangements to make your outdoor ceremony music a success.
Will you attend the wedding ceremony rehearsal?
Please reference our package options. We offer at least one representative at the rehearsal in both the silver and gold packages.
Will you play for events outside the Twin Cities area?
We are happy to accommodate events outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul city limits. If event is located outside of the city limits, we charge $0.55 per mile per person roundtrip. Unless otherwise agreed upon, maximum travel outside of the Twin Cities is 70 miles each direction. Distant events are considered on a case by case basis.
What are your setup requirements?
All we need is approximately an 8’x8’ area and four armless chairs.
